ABOUT ME

I'm a very social person, although sometimes I like to be alone and just spend time with myself. Everyone needs a break every once in a while. Just to think and relax.

I like helping where I can. I get great satisfaction out of this. I try not expect anything so everything that comes my way is a welcome surprise. This way I don't get disappointed too often.

I'm very open-minded and almost nothing can scare me. Life is beautiful, keep it beautiful by not forcing yourself to be something you're not =).

I like talking, but I know when to listen. Going to a pub and having a nice evening means more to me than goig to clubs etc. It's fun to go out from time to time, but clubs aren't a necessity for me.

I enjoy reading and writing poetry. When I read something other than poetry it's mostly a story based on true facts or something scientific. Even though sometimes i like a good sci-fi/fantasy book as well.

Playing guitar is something that can really relax me, just like listening to music. Music can fit every kind of mood and can give you that extra boost or chin-up feeling whenever you need it.

I'm really into Positive Thinking. It has changed my life completely. I read about it often and put everything I find useful into practice. It's not that I never feel down, I might feel down every now and then. But I'll get up faster.

I try to work out as much as possible and I try to live and eat healthy as well.

I have so much more to tell, but everything is so much more interesting when you can hear it in real life. So I will keep it for when we meet.

PHILOSOPHY

I see life as an opportunity, a chance to create true happiness. That's why we have to try to make every minute count. Life is too short to be wasted on being stubborn, angry and whatsoever. It's not always easy, but that's why we have to try and try again until it works.
A bad experience is still experience, it will make you grow. We learn from every experience, good or bad.

So far I've only had great experiences. I always received a very warm welcome. Since I haven't had that many experiences I'm not able to create a top 3 yet. The future will change that =).

I'm very interested in life. So everything connected to this world I find interesting. I might that I'm not the passive type. I like doing more than just talking about something. I like doing sports (not watching), reading, listening to music, travelling, studying, improving myself, creating a positive environment for myself and others,...

'Till a few years ago I would only listen to certain genres like: folk-metal, metal, rock,... But growing older that changed and now I enjoy listening to almost anything. Although I still prefer music that is very melodic and 60% of the time I still listen to folk/folk-metal, rock etc.

I like historical (war) movies, even if they're not completely historically correct, such as The Patriot, Braveheart, Tristan and Isolde, 300,... But also other genres can find their way to my heart.

I love reading about poetry. Also self-help books and stories based on true facts (e.g. The man who broke into Auschwitz) are very enjoyable.
