I'm a college student. I speak Mandarin and English. I live and study in Taipei, Taiwan. My lifestyle is simply a mixture of random things I like, with the most important ones being traveling, drinking(beer and handmade tea), and meeting people! A few things that I would like to try in the future are extreme sports, cooking, and bartending, also sounds super random.

I like traveling and enjoy international exposures; talking to someone from a different culture gives me the kind of fresh feeling you get when you set foot on a country you've never been to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First tried Couchsurfing out of curiosity when me my friend were first-time backpackers in Vietnam not long ago and the warm hospitality of this community was mind-blowing. I would very much like to be a part of this. I look forward to hanging out with fellow Couchsurfers in random spots, no matter it's my hometown, Taipei, or a strange city. We could grab drinks and share stories!

Lived "without internet connection" for a month in Nepal. (I volunteered for an alternative educational program.)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the Chinese language, the history, and Calligraphy, which is traditional Chinese handwriting using brushes(provided we have a writing brush at hand lol). I know them really well.

I would like to learn some words and phrases of your language! And, of course, things related to your culture as well! I like busting/verifying stereotypes about a certain country or race. I think it is fun to discover differences between popular beliefs and their real-world counterparts.
