I want to make beautiful photographs of people, places and objects around the world.
I'm an aspiring fashion/editorial/commercial photographer from a little island and I would love to broaden my horizons.
I love to people watch. I find the many different characteristics and antics of people to be quite fascinating.
Being mostly introverted, I tend to observe and listen more than I talk, but I just may talk your ear off about subjects that I'm passionate about.
I can hardly get enough of Anime and The Walking Dead series, but I wouldn't say I'm huge on watching tv.
A motto I try to live by is, "No experience is a complete waste if you learn something from it", and I don't plan to ever stop learning.
I learned that cigarette smoke and I don't mix well in any form or fashion. I have been known to avoid smoke like the plague.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in traveling around the world to make photographs, meet people, experience different cultures. I see Couchsurfing as a great, more affordable way to do that and get an inside, less touristy feel for a place.

Interests

Photography is life for me. I can spend hours doing it and looking at it.
Anime sometimes provokes binge watching sessions but I'm still far from what you might call an anime addict. There are few anime movies or series that I've come across that I didn't like in some way.
The Walking Dead television series. The producers seem to be playing with our emotions with their mid-season breaks and long summers.
I like animals and I strive to help the agencies that rescue and try to re-home animals. It would be nice to find a way for spiders, flying roaches and mosquitoes to fulfill their part in the circle of life without touching me though.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can deal with most types of music, but I tend to favour music featuring guitars.
Comedy, action, suspense and drama are the types of movies I usually go for. It's hard to pinpoint a definite favourite, but it seems I have a hard time resisting watching The 5th Element, Crimson Tide and Troy whenever I see them appear on tv.
As for books, Stephen King has been where it's at for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit a job i'd been working in for 10 years to work freelance as a photographer. Going from a monthly salary for 10 years to the uncertainty of entrepreneurship is fear inducing. I am grateful that it was voluntary and not forced upon me though.
Hoping to be able to be able to update this with a more adventurous story later. :)
