Hello! My name is Warren. I am 21-year-old college student from California. I am studying biochemistry and math at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I love to travel, meet new people, and experience new things. For someone so young, I am lucky to have traveled as much as I have.

Apart from traveling, I love music, specifically rap and hip-hop. I sing a lot for fun, but I wouldn't necessarily say I'm the best at it... I also play the piano, though I only know a few songs. I also like to write and perform poetry.

I like to live an active lifestyle as well. I played tennis while growing up and like to exercise at the gym or run on trails or through the city. I love hiking and camping and love experiencing nature. My favorite outdoor scene is a relaxing day at the beach.

I try my best to be as well-rounded as possible! I take in a lot from the world, so I love giving back. I like volunteering my time and energy to helping others as much as I can. I work a lot with the homeless, with the elderly, and with children in this way. I hope that on my travels I can meet new people and we can exchange knowledge and experiences abroad!

I am on Couchsurfing to meet people! I have had some experiences staying with Couchsurfers (before I had an account), and I was impressed by the love, generosity and awesomeness of the people we stayed with. I am hoping to meet the same kinds of people now that I've made an account.

I love rap, hip-hop, and R&B. Some of my favorite artists are Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Tyler the Creator, Mac Miller, etc. I used to be big on movies, but I haven't had the time recently. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a full solar eclipse before! If you love to travel and want to see something unlike anything else in the world, I would recommend seeing this event if there is one near you in the future. Or, if you have the opportunity to travel somewhere new to experience this, I would also 100% recommend. I saw the solar eclipse that happened last year (2017) in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States (Oregon). This was an unforgettable experience that I was able to spend with my dad and my best friend.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope I can offer new perspectives on the United States and on the world with the people that host me! I'm always game for a deep conversation that challenges thought and society. I can also offer to teach little bits of the languages that I know to those that I stay with. I am happy to offer a meal and/or a drink for the generosity of hosting for free.
