I know there is nothing like a one on one experience when traveling, i experience the warmth and gratitude from amazing strangers every day in my work,why not experience the same when not working,if it brings happy smiles! bring it on.

ABOUT ME

Sixth generation Hobartian. A modern 40 year old - i'd like to think i can mix with and engage 30 years either side. A flexible people person. If i love something i'm animated and passionate;unstoppable. Chef for 20 years. Studied history and use that experience in my job now. Single, but have two incredible children. Was in two rocking original bands in the nineties [singer/songwriter]. Happily in good health. Haven't travelled OS since 2003.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have a lovely warm cosy home with spare bedrooms 10 months a year. Looking forward to sharing my deep knowledge of my home town and state with those who may be my guest in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutely none as yet, but i have roughed it and am not a fuss pot by any means.

Interests

Very involved in the history of my sorrounds -Hobart.
Love rock music (loud when possible.)
Follow sport closely.
Spending time with my children stress free having fun.
Movies,old and new.
Searching markets, and stalls for history books and toys.

Dolphins at my back fence as a child close enough to pat without getting wet.
Entered world championships of disc golf as a wild card and came ninth
