to travel a long long way from tropical north queensland, and meet the lovely people there

ABOUT ME

I work in health in tropical Far North Queensland Australia as my food ticket but I also play drums in my band, am a recovering bike nerd, music nerd, and like to waste my money on fancy beer.

Work is cool and rewarding but long. I work a lot with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Far North Queensland which is the part of the job I like the best and the reason I stick around I guess.

I'm taking a good 3 months off to go as far from country tropical qld as I can and hope to meet a few interesting bike-minded, music-minded and also totally different people. I will be forever in karmic debt to anyone offering me a couch and a look around.

Worked for three months in a remote Torres Strait Islander community off the Northern tip of Australia nearly in Papua New Guinea
