About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find my niche; conquer the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly, sociable, open mind, and like meeting new people! My friends would say I'm pretty chill and can get along with just about anyone. I live in downtown Vancouver and am minutes away from public transportation and walking distance to trendy bars and restaurants. I go out a lot so I can definitely recommend places to eat/drink/sights to see.

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow; take things as they come; try to focus only on today and work on tomorrow tomorrow.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed my way on a backpacking trip in Europe three years ago. Surfed in London, Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Switzerland, and had one of the best times of my life. I still send some of my hosts Christmas cards! Last surfed in DC.

Interests

Checking out new restaurants, bars/lounges, and coffee shops; reading; visiting art galleries and museums; going to the gym and working the elliptical with my eyes closed; being a tourist in my own city!

Music, Movies & Books

Movies: Ocean's Eleven, The Godfather, anything gangster-related, Match Point, About A Boy... I know I"m forgetting a ton. I'm a huge movie buff and watch a ton of movies, whether classics or current.

Music: mostly hiphop/R&B but I'm open to anything! I even listen to Opera every now and then and often pop into a local hotel bar to listen to live jazz during the week/ends.

Books: 1984, The Great Gatsby, Tintin, The Tipping Point, Jane Eyre
Magazines: The Economist, The New Yorker, Canadian Business, BC Business, TIme.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

walk up, down and around new york city to see the sights, see lake michigan frozen from the top of the hancock building in the ladies' bathroom - that was truly amazing; fight the fierce, icy winds of the windy city (thanks to my luggage, i didn't get blown over)...

Countries I've Visited

China, United States

Countries I've Lived In

Canada, China
