ABOUT ME

I'm a first time traveller bound for adventure with a one way ticket and an open mind.
I'm looking to meet as many different people from as many different backgrounds as possible, and to truly 'open my eyes' to the world.

I've been travelling since june 2010 and want to keep going for as long as i can physically manage it, but my arch nemesis, 'money' keeps getting in the way so I'm stopping here and there to find work to top up my funds.

I will be travelling the world for the foreseeable future, so I will appreciate any help/insight anyone has to offer, and when I find somewhere I want to stay I will be happy to return the favour.

**UPDATE** Currently travelling through australia, working as I go because this country is so damned expensive

I'm interested in a wide variety of things, very keen to learn new languages and explore/participate in other cultures. Other than that, I read, I view, I play and I drink in equal measure.

I've climbed the himalayas, swam with turtles, ridden camels through the desert, bathed with elephants, lazed on white sand beaches, volunteered with orphans, partied under a full moon, and swam in a lake surrounding an active volcano inside the crater of a domant one.
