ABOUT ME

jeeze, what a broad topic. i find myself mildly interesting i suppose.

grew up in sunny san diego, decided that life is not necessarily a beach for everyone in the world so I decided to go to university in London to shake things up a bit. Now i am a twenty-something searching for my calling. lame... i know

i occasionally espouse a witty anecdote of wisdom... the rest of the time i mainly spit out irrelevant facts about various boring subjects.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the honor and pleasure of staying with my good friend Vu Tu and his family in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam in August of 2010. We had an amazing time together learning about our different cultures and Vu cultivated my love for Vietnamese food, as he knew the best places in the city to search out various dishes. Always fond memories!

Interests

i enjoy talking to people and finding out their perspectives on life, their experiences and what drives them to do what they do. I am at a funny point in my life where i could go down many paths and i want to make an informed choice about what i do... so talking to as many people about what they do will give me some valuable insight!

now for the generic stuff: into surfing, traveling, hiking, camping, reading, finding airfares online to obscure places, browsing wikipedia, drinking quality beer and wine and all things delicious and alcoholic, and eating delicious food.
