After last night, I swear to god I'm never going to drink again.

PHILOSOPHY

I get real tired of politicians and the day job. REAL TIRED. So if we meet, and I hope we do, lets just avoid these subjects. My life is not defined by what I do to put beer in my belly, what I drive, who I vote for, where I've travelled (because trust me, you don't know the places I been)what I eat, or those illogical things I choose to beleive in. That's not to say I can't keep a convo flowing effortlessly, I'm just saying if you're looking for answers or agreement you'll be dissapointed, cos all I get is a whole lotta questions.

So I just moved to town and I don't know nobody. I can dance and drink and sing though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was a major asshole to someone who invited to his home in Cincinatti. I regret that, but otherwise, pretty stellar.

兴趣

I like to dress funny, talk funny, I like to string words together so that they don't make no sense, am deeply interested in anyone who can teach me anything, parler tricks especially. I've recently found my open mind is starting to give me a headache so please forgive me if I drop the occasional off colour joke.

Movies: too many to write, Wes Anderson first, Depp movies, yeah its a cliche, mostly french movies anymore, god how I love boring, pretentious french films, give me Truffaut and a sixer of cheap domestic and my nights made, been watching alot of amc and tcm when I can't sleep because nothing defines my life better than those 40's dramas where the sexual tension could be cut with a knife yet they fade to black at every kiss, V, Irriversible, docs about obscure musicians, and WW dos movies becuase I find the nazi advances most compelling.

Music: Too much Walkmen, cocoon, I cover a lot of dylan and Neutral Milk, Hayes Carll Horridly seduced by the one they call Cat Power, them Black Keys, bright eyes for the pure self-pity/indulgence, MGMT, early Modest Mouse,the Libertines, Vetiver, David Dondero, Danny Schmidt, Mystic Valley, Sam Joyner, Against me!, and whatever other vinyls I can find at the Amish Market.
I wouldn't describe myself as liking all kinds of music because I think those people don't like music at all. Am constantly in search of those obscure recordings people have heard of but can't quite describe.

Books:
Most recently, Cold Mountain, Roman Gary, the Dandy, Beatrice and Virgil, and Iris Murdoch, House of Leaves, the Executioners Song, Capt. Corelli's Mandolin, La Histoire de ma Via, by my personal idol Giacomo C. the Virgin Suicides, the saga of Jean Christophe par Rolland, Franzen, the trilogy of Phineas Poe, the Bandini Chronicles, the Yidish Detecives Club, Confederacy of Dunces, Everything Nabakov n Poe, Infinite Jest, Hard Case Crime novels, Fortress of Solitude, Trainspotting, Palanuic, Life of Pi, Bryson, etc etc etc. I really don't get to read as much as I'd like to.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've fucked and I've fought, I seen wonderous things with my eyes, I've starved and I've sang my throat raw. I've met the brightest minds of my generation and made a complete fool of myself. I've been broke and flush and can't honestly choose which I prefer, but I do know I am endlessly fascinated by people no matter how much I claim to love or hate them.
