CURRENT MISSION

I am looking to purchase a sailboat with friends so we can spend the winters in the Caribbean.

ABOUT ME

I love travel (of course) and do so as often as possible. I usually visit Japan once a year but I love the sun and the sand so I think I'm going to start focusing on warm weather places. Sometimes I run international marathons for the travel opportunity but currently I just want to sit on a beach and write and drink rum and escape the rainy winters in Seattle.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new at this so I hope it works out well. Travel can be expensive so I'm hoping to eliminate hotel or hostel costs. I'm willing to host people here in Seattle, but you had better come during June--September because it's simply beautiful here that time of year.

Interests

I want to learn more about sailing. I have some friends who I would like to buy a sailboat with so we can island hop in the Caribbean. But first, I need more practice! I really like the outdoors . . . hiking, camping and all of that good stuff.
