When I was a younger man, I was always dreaming of travelling the world, making friends with different culture. After I become a little bit older young man, I finnaly get the chance to come to the Netherlands. Now I study here for one year. But it's too bad that 9 months have passed. However, from here, I travelled a lot. I have alrealdy been to Slovenia, Crotia, Czecia, Austria, Slovakia, Poland.... Most of the time, I travelled by myself and lived in hostel. When I reached a new city, I always walk around and to each corner of the city on foot. I love the feeling of being free by myself, however, I prefer making friends to being always alone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During most of my travel, I live in hostel where I think I can make new friend. But it's not always the case. People come, people go. Before they left, I could not even have a word with them. I also have lived in some Airbnb rooms. But host of airbnb generally take the accomodation as a business. That is not what I want. I want to be hosted as a friend, and on the other hand, I want to host friends from other places.

My favourite music genre is folk music. My favourite movie is 'The Shawshank Redemption'. My favourite book is 'Tao Te Ching' (like a bible for Chinese people)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have ever cycled nearly 2500 kms in less than one month from Chengdu to Lahsa, Tibet. During the trip, I witnessed extraordinary natural sceneries, such as snow mountain, plateau lake, huge meadow, densely forest. Additionally, during a Chinese spring festival, I cycled from Canton back to my hometown for 1200 kms in 7 days since I could not buy a train ticket. After the trip, my knee injured and my bike damaged.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always would like to go to the local open market to buy some fruit and candy. I would like to share with hosts the fruit and the food. I can also cook Chinese meal for the hosts.
