About Me
I'm currently attending the University of North Dakota for a double major in Information Systems and Norwegian. I am still pretty new to Couchsurfing so there isn't much to my profile yet. I plan on filling it with great stories about my travels as they happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always loved traveling, even if I have never have the opportunity to go anywhere. I've always been interested in learning about new places and going to places that you won't go to as a typical tourist. I feel like traveling should have a balance between doing touristy things and doing local things. I am on Couchsurfing in hopes to learn more about new cultures and to do things the locals love to do. If you have any good traveling stories to tell well that's a bonus.
Interests
My interests include watching movies, pretty much anything is cool with me, and listening to music. I can't say that I have a favorite type of music yet. I grew up listening to classical rock and country and I never felt like it was for me. That doesn't mean I don't like to sit back and rock out every once in a while. I guess I'm still in the process of discovering myself and that includes the music that I enjoy listening to. Another interest of mine is coin collecting. (Yeah I know it's a little nerdy) I have always found old coins intriguing and I really like looking at all the old designs they used.

Music, Movies, and Books
For my favorite music I will direct you to my Interests. I feel like my favorite music and movies change as time goes by. There are a lot of movies that I really enjoy watching and would gladly watch again but I don't think I could narrow them down to a few. I am not the type of person who reads books. Sometimes I wish I was but maybe later in my life I will settle down. Since I haven't had the pleasure of reading many books this question was pretty easy. I would say my favorite book was "Where the Red Fern Grows." I really enjoyed that book growing up and I enjoyed the movie just as much.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was lucky enough to attend North Dakota Governor's School in the Summer of 2012. There I was able to meet many amazing friends and I learned so much. The coolest part was when I received a letter from North Dakota's Governor congratulating me on my acceptance into the program.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would gladly listen to anything you can share with me whether it be something have learned from traveling or from life experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As of right now I cannot share much with hosts as there is no place for them to stay. Later on in my life I hope to host many travelers from around the world and share with them pieces of knowledge I will have learned from my travels.
