Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music and movies, it's rare for me to find something I don't like. I would have to say some of my favorite bands include Purity Ring, LCD Soundsystem, Porches, etc. My favorite film directors include David Fincher, Wes Anderson, and Nicolas Winding Refn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2012, I worked in a lab studying alternative fuel sources. While there I came up with my own project working with microbial fuel cells, essentially making electricity from mud. It was a very interesting experience and I grew a lot as a person that summer. Additionally, it was my first time working on my own research project and in a setting where no one else knew English as a first language.
