ABOUT ME

I am an easy going person who LOVES to travel and meet people from all over the world, I have lots of stories to tell and an even bigger capacity to hear travelling stories of others. I have travelled across Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa on my bicycle in 2013, sleeping only in my hammock. Gone through the Tea-horse trade route in Yunnan Province, China back in 2009, lived in a remote mountain village belonging to the Yi ethnic minority for 2 weeks. Backpacked all over Taiwan and Hitch Hiked over most of Western Europe in 2014. Also a bit of other small trips not really worth mentioning.

PHILOSOPHY

1)Only in not being afraid to die will you not be afraid to live.
2) throughout our lives, we trade time for money and money for time. Time is more valuable.

Favorite Books: The things they carried, Matterhorn, The Anatomy of Courage, Eight lives down, Anything by Ishida Yusuke (Japn: cycling all the way, I will die if I don't go)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived a pretty close encounter with a wild grizzly bear...I was hiking in the Rockies one time and a grizzly bear was eating something behind a bush. I couldn't see it and it couldn't hear me, all of a sudden, it jumped into the trail which I was walking and we stared at each other, eye to eye, for god knows how long. We couldn't have been more than 2-3 meters from each other, all i could remember was feeling its hot breath on my sandals and before i could do anything, the bear walked off, end of story.
