ABOUT ME

I grew up in the US but I've lived in Germany for the last two years. I've been playing music and learning German ever since I got here. Now in August I'll start studying at a university here in Frankfurt. I like to keep a flexible schedule so write me anytime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The experience has been all positive. I just wish I had known about it earlier in my life. Of course you have your funny stories about nudists and things like that. But seriously, it's the best thing since sliced bread.

I love all of it. Music is life, that goes without being said, and my idols vary in style. I'm into Massive Attack, Them Crooked Vultures, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Kooks,Kid Cuddie, Talib Kweli, Jay-Z, Common, Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, Brother Ali,Rachmaninoff, Spoon, Franz Ferdinand, Graveyard, Ben Folds, White Stripes, Jason Mraz, John Mayer (his blues/jazz phase), Frank Sinatra, RHCP, Tchaikovsky, Dr. Dog, Citizen Cope, QOTSA, Led Zeppelin, Portis Head, DubFX, The Beatles Coldwar Kids...I meant to only write a few but I get a little out of hand when I talk about music.

I like movies that make you think, or make you say "Oooohhh shiiit!" during it.

And I love reading horror and crime books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many things to rank or describe. The Himalayan Mountains, the crowded city of Prague, the freedom of Amsterdam, pizza in Italy, lifestyle of California. The list will go on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some music stuff, I studied trombone for a couple of years and have played guitar forever. I speak Spanish and French and am interested in all languages; so I'd love to learn and teach there. Oh yea, I can teach you one of the coolest things in the world. Juggling.
