I'm a realist, trying to stay positive. I want to get the best out of life. I'm adventurous, ambitious, entrepreneurial, creative, a free thinker and calculated risk-taker. I love traveling and exploring new things. The world is one big buffet and I want to try all the dishes. I build product that people love, hopefully. I'm a giver. I believe you only get as much out of anything as you put in, so I like to help people wherever I can.

I love meeting new and interesting people. Offering people a place to crash and connecting with them is a great way to do just that!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted back in The Netherlands and surfed a couple of times in Europe and Northern America, and since coming to San Francisco I've become quite active in the community, and host people regularly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One winter, I drove from The Netherlands to Russia. I ran the New York City marathon. I hiked on a glacier in Argentina.

I can tell you about entrepreneurship in the Silicon Valley or about The Netherlands, or about The Philippines. I can teach you a few words of Dutch. I can tell you why reason and logic are the most important things in the world. I can take you out to dance salsa.
