To meet as many couch surfers as possible, while living the college life to the fullest!
I just graduated from University of Virginia's Engineering school with a degree in Computer Science, and am moving to Seattle, WA! I'm really relaxed, and try to live a low-stress life and stay as open-minded as possible. Now that college is over, I'm really looking forward to exploring the world and meeting new people. My day to day life is fairly low key, usually involving some form of exercise, talking with friends, working on some hobby and reading a good book at night. I am a big fan of seeing new places, and having in depth discussions with people about their interests. As you'd expect from an engineer I am fascinated by science and computers. I'm in the process of learning to play the keyboard. Overall though I can be content doing just about anything.
I'm always learning new things, and bettering myself in some way. Because of this my personal philosophy is itself always growing and changing. I live my life because the ability to experience the world is an amazing thing. Not all my experiences have been perfect, but I've found that if you just wait, put in a little effort, and keep an open mind life ends up being pretty worthwhile. Sometimes I'm living to help a neighbor, other times I'm living with my nose pressed against a computer screens playing video games, and other times I'm living just to walk down the street. I don't know if there is some grand purpose in life, but I am forever grateful for the life I've been given and the luxuries I have that many people in the past and present have not had. I'm a huge animal lover and vegetarian. But I'm not on a crusade for everyone to be a vegetarian. There are so many ways each person could contribute to the world that you wouldn't be able to live if you tried to do them all, but I try to better the world and give back for all it has given me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh boy, there are so many kinds of music that I like that it almost saddens me I can't enjoy them all. The music that has most captured my life is definitely dance music. I listen to mostly electronic, but anything with a groovy beat will completely absorb me. I love electronic dance music, but I wouldn't say I entirely subscribe to the culture that surrounds it. I love how free-spirited it can be, but I wish people would be more responsible. Occasionally using drugs in a safe and sane manner is one thing, but too often people don't think before they act and hurt themselves or others and the entire EDM community get blamed for their actions.
Current Favorite Genres (because I'm always finding new stuff I like): Trance & House ! But even though I mainly listent o electronic music, I've had tons of non-electronic phases throughout my life as well, and like tons of different music.
Current Favorite Artists: Above & Beyond, Glitch Mob, Hardwell, Arty, Nicky Romero, I really could go on and on.
Current Favorite Songs:
Plej: Safe Place
Above & Beyond: A Thing Called Love
Glitch Mob: Drive It Like You Stole It
Matzo & Arty: Mozart
I've read mostly fantasy novels, but am looking to expand the books I read.
Currently reading: Game of Thrones (On book 4)
Plan to Read Next: Jon Kabat-Zinn "Wherever You Go, There You Are"
Harry Potter (Come on, I was born in 1990 this was made for me!)
The Deeds of Paksenarrion
The Chronicles of the Black Company
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
I really like movies, but have not watched many since I've been in college, so I've probably seen less than 10 in the past 4 years.
Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit
The Big Lebowski
50 First Dates
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Done: Skydiving - The only way to describe it is having an orgasm and a heart attack at the same time.
Seen: Yellowstone National Park - This place is absolutely incredible. The huge amount of diversity of landscape and wildlife in one area is positively astounding. From frozen lakes to dense jungle to hot springs that look like they are from outer space, it's incredible. And one morning I woke up and walked out the door of my cabin and was 2 feet away from a buffalo looking at me.
