Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Theoretically:
it is the opposite of being an anonymous tourist sleeping in a room with a number being nothing more than a number in a world of numbers. With couchsurfing all stays turn into unforgettable beautiful memories.

Practically:
To safe money.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

God, what a question.
Really?
Is it on me now to say what is amazing? I mean, ....I feed stray cats...is that now the amazing thing?
I gave yesterday 2 sandwiches, an apple and a piece of pie to a homeless person who seems to survive secretly in the hallways of our apartment. He ate it instantly.... Is that amazing?
I survived traffic yesterday. Is that amazing?
I am a very good cook and I make our daily meals. Is that amazing?
Couchsurfing.com wants 1 amazing thing I am done?
I really don't know what to answer here.

Is it really amazing to do bungee jumping?
Is it amazing to climb the Himalaya?
Is it amazing to skydiving?
Is it amazing to fly to Venice?
I don't think it is.

It is amazing if you feel alive without jumping of a plane!
It is amazing if you love to give, if you love, if you realize, if you learn...
To appreciate life itself is sometimes difficult.
Especially in these hard times?

Oh, ... wait.....It is amazing that I am not shot although I lost 2 jobs because of my decision, was humiliated by coworkers, neighbors and the whole canadian system!... I packed my suitecases and left Canada for 1 year. I survived in Mexico and had fun! AMAZING!
