ABOUT ME

HEY THERE! I'm Maria, I'm originally from Lisbon, Portugal, and I have been living in the UK for a few years now (London and Brighton), only I'm about to take off! I'm meeting my two good friends from Lisbon in Bangkok soon (the 9th of April, to be more precise), where we're going to start our adventure, backpacking through SE Asia! I know it's been done before, but for me it's still completely new and adventurous. :)

I'm a fun-loving person, very lively, but also very respectful of everyone's space. I'm a people person, which is what makes couchsurfing so appealing to me!

I'm super keen on learning new things, new languages, experiencing different cultures and alternative, more sustainable lifestyles/ways of being in the world. I also wanna take on volunteering work, acquire new skills and contribute to make the world a better place for us and future generations (in all honesty, even if it does sound really pageanty!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no previous couchsurfing experience, but hopefully that's about to change!

Interests
