About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover all I can, leave a lasting impact for the good.

ABOUT ME

I love travelling, only when surrounded by the unknown and unknowing can you truly be your self. There is no greater feeling than being lost in a new world, having no idea what is around the next corner. Usually I travel alone, as it gives me an opportunity to absorb my surroundings more and meet new people.

I have a terrible habit of leaving things to the last minute. I can often end up in situations like sleeping on a train station bench after clubbing in Copenhagen, playing cards and sleeping in the apartment of a bunch of random French in Norway, having my last available room in Macau raided by the police. But then again, those were all the best times too.

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard to leave a lasting impact for the good.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all movies. I'll enjoy any genre if the movie is high quality. If the movie is crap, then I'll enjoy thinking about why it was crap.

I used to read a lot fantasy and science fiction. Isaac Asimov, Ben Elton, Orson Scott Card were my favourites. These days I'm switching to mostly non-fiction, biographies of anyone I find inspiring, and texts on any new skills I want to learn.

I have terrible taste in music, no denying it. I can't even tell you what I like because I listen mostly to random shuffle. When asked I usually say "Alternative Rock" but really I have no idea what that means.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited the small town Namtu in Burma where my grandmother was born. Some of the older locals remembered working with my great-grandfather and told us stories of his life.

I ate live squid once while old korean men laughed at the stupid foreigner.
