Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
to find inner peace and balance by exploring the beauties of other cultures, discovering new cities and meeting new friends.
ABOUT ME
Time for a quick update! After living in Thailand for a long while, the place I called home for nearly 11 years (yep, it's been that long!), the winds of fate had brought me to Singapore, where I was to embark on a new adventure!
Not new anymore in town but making friends had proven a bit challenging here so really appreciate other CS enthusiasts for a friendly meet, a beer or two perhaps!
As a typical Piscean, I'm a very laid-back, easy-going and open-minded guy who really enjoy the outdoors, appreciates nature and is fond of sports, diving, swimming, dining, cinemas and most importantly, a good drink! :P Like any active CS member, traveling and exploring other cultures have also been my passion for as long as I can remember. Definitely up to meet just about anyone who shares the same interests ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Nemo me impune lacessit!
Live and let live.
There's always a solution to a problem.
There's always "grace" in "disgrace".
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since moving to Singapore, I haven't been able to participate much in the CS project. Rather a huge difference living here than in Bkk as the real estate here is quite expensive! I'm sharing a flat with two flatmates so it's not possible for me to host actively as I used to in Thailand. Happy to show you around town though and grab a drink or ten! :P
The CS project is a brilliant idea to meet people from different walks of life. Joining the CS project was probably the best decision I've ever made. It had proven to be a really positive experience for me and I wish I could contribute more to the project. So far these are the people from CS whom I have hosted and/or shared some good times with me on the CS project:

So far, the most fascinating view of nature that I've seen is in the Tatra Mountains in Poland. Went hiking to reach the peak of the mountain and end up in a beautiful lake with clear waters. Simply amazing! Have seen The Eiffel Tower (France), Angkor Wat (Cambodia), Banaue Rice Terraces (Philippines), Sagrada Familia (Spain) and Emerald Buddha and Reclining Buddha (Thailand) -they say you must see these places at least once in your life! :)
