ABOUT ME

I am a theater professional and New York native. Travel is a top priority, for it opens my heart and mind to new ways of living. I am a social butterfly, who also enjoys relaxing by a body of water. I love to ski, swim and rock climb!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we should be changing and adapting every day. I like to smile and see other's smile by being a good listener. I try every day to be kind, open minded and understanding.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think couch surfing is the way of the future. Resources are limited and recycling is imperative. Being in new, unfamiliar situations is a guilty pleasure of mine- if not for the thrill, then for the retrospective mirror it shines upon myself. Plus, how cool to see other humans homes & living experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently went out on a whim and messaged some folks a few days in advance- I was taking an early ferry and wanted to do the long drive the night before. I ended up meeting an absolutely awesome mother of three (and her family & land lady). I had the best sleep I've had in a while & was treated with incredible hospitality. I am so grateful!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Going up to Czech Switzerland on the boarder of the Sudetenland and finding a place to stay for the night while still hiking and finding my way home at the end of the night. One of the most beautiful places i have every seen- yet also, of massive historical importance.

I am from New york city, born and raised, so i know something about living in an intense environment and can definitely share skills and knowledge in that. I also studied theater in college in a very rigorous studio program, so i enjoy talking about human nature and life through an existential, psychoanalytical view. Why do we follow norms? and who came up with them? How can we break boundaries and still identify ourselves within a community?

I also have extensive voice, movement and acting training- can offer skills & advice on those. I am a great cook- but don't ask me to bake. I am a proficient dog walker and kitty whisperer. I hope to be generous in spirit! I am a good listener (when I'm not hangry). Oh also I love to clean.
