HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently can only surf because I live in a box room :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None to date, but have friends who both travel and host. Hung out with people who have been hosted by them.

兴趣

I'm an avid practitioner of the Afro-Brazilian martial art of Capoeira, and have been training for 7 years now. I also enjoy reading (modern classics, critical theory, philosophy). I am a good cook, and can produce dishes from a variety of traditions (Brazilian, Jamaican and Chinese). Last of all I enjoy finding out about other people, their cultures, beliefs and interests.

A general rule is nothing too trashy unless I am very drunk

Musically: Hip Hop (underground and old school), RnB (as in Aretha Franklin not Beyonce), Reggae, Bashment, Soul, Blues, some rock (but not much), old Chinese music (from the 1930s-80s)

I am not easily impressed by grand sights and sounds, preferring instead to find revelations in the small details and the everyday. I've experienced a lot in my life, but I like to think that what I've seen and done does not define me as a person.
