Hi! I am Weilee, originally from Singapore but currently living full-time in my off-grid van together with my boyfriend. We bought our van in April 2024 and have since been driving/surfing along the Atlantic coast, with the intention to explore this side of the world through surfing and nature. Living full-time in a van has so far fulfilled many of my values - being close to nature as a default state of being, conscious consumption (be it of water, electricity or material things) and exploring the world :-)

Prior to living in a van, I was always traveling solo and seeking adventures (in other words, constantly worrying my Asian parents lol). Some of these adventures include land-traveling from Singapore to Thailand to attend a workshop on mudhouse building, joining a sailboat circus in Greece and diving in Cambodia.

Adventures aside, things that feed my soul are music, movement and visual art. Currently, I only have a guitar in my van, but I used to play the piano and once upon a time, was also a drummer of a school rock band. For movement - I used to dance and perform, but in recent years I have been into aerial acrobatics and flow arts like poi. In terms of visual arts, I have been a videographer and editor, mostly focusing on documentary and video journalism.
