ABOUT ME

Love cooking and traveling. Want to take all the cooking classes everywhere in the world.
Do trekking and traveling as a backpacker.

Love and study Chinese Literature and culture BUT born and grew up in Taiwan, an independent country with its own passport, currency, army, law, government and election that China does not have for sure. ( Please note that I am not that aggressive about politics but just the CS claims that Taiwan is Province of China under my profile photo, that makes me heartbreaking.)

PHILOSOPHY

Work crazily hard like all Taiwanese/East-Asians do but want to travel and enjoy traveling more than we are supposed to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently no space in my apartment for hosting but would like to have the chance to meet some decent people who travel to Taipei.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great CS experience in Poland, India, Iran and Korea and wanna explore Kyrgyzstan in the coming February!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked in snowy Annapurna Circuit Nepal, climbed up to the Great Wall in China for sunset, volunteered to cook for the homeless for Chinese-year-end feast, and held the event for the immigrant workers in Taipei Main Station.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share typical Taiwanese food recipes and some travel experience in Southeast Asia. Or if you are interested in Chinese culture, I would love to exchange our ideas since I lived in China for three and half years and majored in Chinese literature.
