About Me

I'm a college senior at Arizona State University. I am studying journalism and plan to graduate in December 2016 (if things go as planed), but plan B is to finish in Spring 2017. When it's not hot as hell here in AZ, I like to go out and hike, play some music, crate dig for vinyl records, play pool, shoot photos, read, hear interesting stories, create videos, ride my bike around, dance and party.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to explore places all around the country and see the world. Build relationships with people from all over. Hear some good stories, create some good stories, learn the ins and outs in these cities I visit from the locals. Make some good connections with people that I encounter. Get some good advice and grow as a person.

Interests

Reading stories and poetry, taking photos of all kinds of art work, architecture, landscape, people and obscure objects that attract the eyes. Painting with spray paint and collecting records, cassettes and Gundams. Traveling to all types of places and making friends. Biking around town seeing small hidden worlds that I like to document and acknowledge. I also like to be in the outdoors, going camping and hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music ranges from today's electronic music to lowrider oldies to world music to funk to rock to hip hop to vaporwave and anything I can bust a move too.

The books I like to read are poetic stories about peoples journeys and true stores of peoples lives. Also folklore and mythology stories about culture and ceremony. And funny stuff.

For movies I can watch anything except chick flicks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Man I don't know what to say about this, i feel like someone would have to recognize this and tell me or maybe I haven't done it yet. Next Question.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, although I live in the city of Phoenix. Most my family lives on the Navajo-Hopi Indian reservation. So when you go out there it's like going to another country. Some folks on the rez don't necessarily have running water or electricity. So things are kind of tough like that but the land is nice and quiet. It's like land untouched and you can see all the stars and constellations on the northern hemisphere. I got some stories of those places I could share. But i'd like to hear your story.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could get some food, help cook some tasty meals, help with some chores and what ever may seem clever.
