Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At my old house we ran a free hostel out of a couple spare rooms. We hosted travelers, bands, and train hoppers and shared stories, songs, and bootleg wine recipes over a bonfire in the front yard. These days I've moved out of the co-op and don't have much space to host anymore, but I still believe in the spirit of the commons.

Interests

I don't have enough space to properly host right now, but if you are a woman travelling solo without another option I do have a couch that you can share with a cat or two.

Otherwise hit me up if you want to see all the dive bars, talk lefty politics or history, or check out some jazz or classical concerts. I'm a midtowner, so if you're looking for advice that's my area of expertise.
