Overview
About Me
I'm a writer, travelling or otherwise, with a vested interest in unconventional methods of storytelling (i.e. video games, film, graphic novels, etc.). I'm a vegetarian (eggs and milk are cool) and a music lover (mostly alternative rock and light electronic music). I'm addicted to parenthesis (see, told you) and I tend to be very flexible and accommodating, within reason. I love board games, drinking, conversations about literature, and guitars. There's more, I'm just terrible at actually talking about myself. Toodles!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One day, my roommate and his girlfriend had a screaming argument on the front lawn for the fifteen squintillionth time and I said, "Yep, I'm moving out." More vaguely, I think that travel broadens people's views of the world and I'm an introvert, so meeting people is hard unless I'm given a proper reason. Also, my brother Turner Monroe has been using it for years and he seems to be winning the whole travel thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wrote a book :D Not published yet, but being sent out to publication houses. It's about two girls that runaway from home and wind up in each other's lives as they try to justify the cruel things that have happen to them and misguidedly protect one another.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not 100% what to put here, but I love teaching and learning, so that's good! I can teach you how to make risotto and give critical insights into all manner of literature, film, and other storytelling mediums. Also I know how to play guitar and several other musical instruments.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm comfortable with almost any accommodations and I'm typically quiet if unprompted. I can get into conversation rather easily though (provided we speak the same language) and am happy to go exploring with you and your friends or on my own (I don't need to be constantly entertained, so no pressure). The only thing of note is that I'm a vegetarian, milk and eggs are cool, but no fish, chicken, pork, or beef. I don't care if you eat meat during a meal with me, it doesn't gross me out.
