Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know other cultures, and that is something you can't do following the tourism close circuit of hotels and pub recommendations. I want to get to know real people! Also a bit of adventure

I love getting to know new people; you learn a bit every day! I play guitar a bit and draw stuff too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could say I listen to everything, but my favourite bands are rock: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Arctic Monkeys. But hey, there are more; Beirut, Wilco, The Low Anthem, and more. And spanish ones: Los Punsetes, La Bien Querida, Las Buenas Noches, El Columpio Asesino.

I love novels, particularly dark comedies, but any good one will do; Jeffrey Eugenides, Haruki Murakami, Megan Abbott, Raymond Chandler. My favourite novel is Dune, but I instantly love anyone who has read House of Leaves.

I'm not a movie person, but I watch a bit of everything; from Haneke to Marvel movies. That's a wide range, there. I have a soft spot for zombie flicks, though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only one? Oh well. I walked the Camino de Santiago from my home city (Seville) to Santiago de Compostela, on my own. It's the best way to meet cool people! A bit scary when you find yourself against a pack of stray dogs, though.
