我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

There are a handful of moments when I truly feel alive and can feel the excitement of just being a witness to life coursing through my veins. Most of these moments have happened abroad, when I am dropped in a new environment, in the company of new people, experiencing a world I never knew existed before that moment. I am on Couchsurfing because I am addicted to chasing that feeling of wonder, belonging and endless possibilities, and I love meeting people who know exactly what I'm talking about :)

I spent four months in the south of France, painting in a fine arts studio and out in plein air. I was lucky enough to spend four days living and creating art in Monet's Giverny gardens. It felt like four days of Christmas with my close friends around a dinner table with endless bottles of wine and a warm fireplace.

I enjoy swapping recipes and cooking with friends. Food is one of the best ways to learn about another culture. I love drawing caricatures and portraits, happy to do one for any host! I'm also an avid maker of artist zines. I like to swap books and book recommendations while I travel.
