ABOUT ME

Currently a Peace Corps Volunteer in Jamaica, specializing in agriculture and environmental education. I love reading, knitting, tea, traveling, meeting interesting people, agriculture and food.

PHILOSOPHY

My grandmother told me there’d be good days
to counter the dark ones,
with blue skies in the heart as far
as the soul could see. She said
you could measure a life in as many ways
as there were to bake a pound cake,
but you still needed real butter and eggs
for a good one—pound cake, that is,
but I knew what she meant.

I grew up on a farm with sheep and goats, so I've seen my share of life and death and it never ceases to amaze me every time.

I love to learn things about places that aren't included in the guide books!
I can sew, knit and love to share my passion for agriculture and food systems. I can also navigate the Jamaican public transportation system like a boss.
