We are a happily married monogamous couple for 22 years as of 2015. We chose no children but love to spoil our godchildren and friends kids then send them home. ;) Wendy has traveled outside the US a bit more than Tim but we hope to change that and we hope this may be the perfect platform for that beginning.

We are friendly and open people who enjoy learning and sharing and would like to meet people of different cultures, belief systems, thoughts, and ideas. We are both open minded and don't force our opinions on others and appreciate others who are of the same mind set. We enjoy conversation, cultural immersion, and varied experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have found that generally people are pretty interesting in small doses. We enjoy sharing and we have room to share. We want to travel but are not big fans of expense and touristy shellac (fake luster). True cultural immersion helps explain why places are true destinations and removes the veil of commercialism.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wendy: Hiked from Aguas Calientes up to Machu Picchu then on up to Huayna Picchu so we could look back down over the whole site. Beautiful!
