About Me

2016: Looped my way back to the Bay after nearly 8 months on the road.

In 2015, I uprooted from my hometown to trek a part of the world. During that journey, I found myself somewhere in South East Asia. Life on the road, it made me learn new things each day.

I want to share stories, laughs, and ideas. The most stand out moments of my life have been those that I've shared with other people. Can't wait to meet fascinating individuals in these travels and spark those new friendships. People are the wonders of the world in my eyes.

Writing about myself is a really weird experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing opens the door to remarkable places and people. They become the foundation of our experiences, markers of our journey.

Interests

Art and music are my guilty pleasures. I am a classically trained pianist (or was, 7 years ago), so I have a soft spot for orchestral. Anything creative though, really stirs my soul.

I'm also a board game enthusiast. Check out my pictures for a collection of some favorite games.

Enjoy hiking, tennis, doing something active.

I've lived and breathed the start-up ecosphere so innovation and creative thinking really excite me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies;
Gattaca, Pursuit of Happyness, Shutter Island, The Blind Side, Edward Scissorhands, Up in the Air, Miyasaki films, Pixar animations.
Anything thought provoking.

I also enjoy curling up at night with a good horror movie. Need that adrenaline rush once in a while.

Books;
Excegesis, Orbiting the Giant Hairball, Fahrenheit 451, The Things I Carry, Night, Dan Brown novels

Music;
An eclectic taste. Any thought-provoking songs earn bonus points.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving lucky money envelopes to strangers during New Years holidays in Ho Chi Minh city.

Motorbiking across the highest peaks of Vietnam to camp in the mountains for 4 days. Exhilarating and disorienting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to learn and also share my experiences

I thrive on meaningful conversations. Stories, ideas, good times, and the occasional awkward joke.

Sadly, not the best at cooking. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect pancake recipe. If you would like to try one of my experiments, I'd be happy to share some. :)

Can chip in on house-hold chores no problem.
