About Me

I'm now living in Berlin, waiting for the reply from universities. I might move to other cities when my first semester in Germany start.
I like to learn new things, I've studied Biology and Architecture , without graduation of course :P I'm now hoping I can go to medical school in Germany, if not, I will study Philosophy in Berlin.
I like to read, I read every kind of books except business and management. I'm not professional in any area, but I kind of know everything a bit and like to talk and listen.
My passion is learning languages. I speak Chinese (Mandarin) and a taiwanese dialect as mother tongue, and also English and German. I've been in a Spanish language school in Granada for two months and I really hope someday I will get time to really learn Spanish.
Now I'm interested in learning French, I'm trying to learn the basic by myself and planing to travel to Lille in the end of August, taking French course there.
When I want to relax, I love painting, gardening and cooking, you know, those peaceful little things. Sometimes I also go out with friends and get to know people, party around or visit events-- Hip hop and classical music are my favorite.
I have two cats from Taiwan, I brought them to Germany with me. They are like my family. It's a pity that they don't like to travel so much with me. :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and learn languages. Some times I travel with a friend, seldom in a bigger group, but often I travel alone and sinking in the feeling of being in a foreign place.

And I don't really like to stay in a 6-bed room in a hostel. Usually the roommates are in stress and not so interesting. And the style of the hostel rooms make me feel like in a prison.

For me it's so interesting to get to know different home/life styles in different culture. And by hanging out with local host maybe I could get to know more people and experience more local life.

The last point is, as a student, I need to spend money very carefully. I'm not a saving freak, but if I don't need to spend so much money for the hostel, I can plan my trip longer and nicer.
