About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hosting people from all over the world brings us closer to everyone. We love meeting new people.

Enjoying life to the fullest. Living with my little girl I love to travel, meet new people and enjoy all the little things in life.

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun and outgoing person, When I was younger I travelled all over the world and lived in a few places abroad as well. I'm somehow missing my travelers life from time to time, however by hosting I get to meet so many awesome people that it's somehow making it possible to travel from my own home.

My little house is filled with my ten year old little girl and lots of laughter. I love to cook and make people feel at home.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In our house in the Hague we used to host pretty much every month. We’ve moved to the other side of the country at the end of 2019 and now I finally get to host again after the pandemic, a divorce & moving.

Previously we've attended a few CS meetings in several places in Italy and met wonderful people from all over... In the Hague we used to visit the CS meeting as well when we could.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met a lot of CSers allready, hosted quite a few and hopefully crash on some more couches ourselves...

Music, Movies, and Books

Paolo Coelho's 'The Alchemist' is probably the best book I've ever read. And it makes so much sense as a traveler!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in a few countries, but one of them was Egypt. I lived here as a woman, alone. It got to me that people were so genuinely friendly and caring, so much different than in the West. Every culture has so much more to offer than we imagine.
