ABOUT ME

We are a fun couple who love to travel and enjoy life.We are both very creative and also Love Nature - so lots of hiking,mountain climbing,absailing - sailing and surfing.swimming and tanning.We love to cook and love to dance even more,especially Outdoor Music Festivals - we are happy campers.
Recently having completed our sailing courses, we want to make friends all over the world while sailing to the most beautiful places!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We regularly host our friends as couch surfers and only recently found this network.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When we moved back to Cape town after spending 3 years on my parents farm near the Kruger National Park,we were homeless for the first 6 months.We had a tent though and camped every weekend at an outdoor music festival where we would work at the gate,at the bar and even helped with the Decor,during the week we would couch surf with our friends.we are deeply greatful for their help and learned to respect their space as well as give a hand with cooking and cleaning.since we then got our apartment we have been able to return the favour to several surfers!

Marius loves music and movies, while Werner can be a bit of a bookworm at times, some favourite reads are Tom Robbins, Huge Harry Potter fan,Ted Andrews, Paulo Coehlo,Kahlil Gibran, Carlos Casteneda,Pablo Neruda,Jean Auel,Richard Bach,tbc
We listen to Trance music mostly, but like all different other kinds like cold play,jamiriquay,red hot chilli peppers,oasis,lady gaga.
Movies we have seen so many, we love sifi and adventure, action and comedy with the odd art house film like Amelie, Life is good, Shortbus

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to teach some circus skills like fire dancing and hoola hooping,
learning to play the mandolin and speak spanish
Sharing good times, if I am in Cape town I love to share all thebest places to go and things to do,especially all the free stuff, My city has a lot to offer!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to contribute some cash towards household goods like toilet paper and use of water and electricity. Eager to help with cooking and cleaning, as well as sharing costs for ingredients.Love to share our stories of adventure and enthusiasm!
