I’m half-Italian, but I was born in Zielona Gora, Poland – a city close to the German border, whose name means “the Green Mountain”. Currently, I live in Gdansk (at the seaside). I moved here because of my studies – I’m at the Film and Audiovisual Culture Faculty. This choice is a result of my previous activities and my big passion, which is film; similarly, I’m a theatre enthusiast. I practise recitation. Equality very much matters to me, especially when it comes to the rights of minorities, therefore I do a lot of activism. I’m interested in the philosophical concept of Being. My hobby is running long distances. I regret that I’m not able to travel more often, and this is partially my way to fix this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all I really want to meet people from over the world and improve my English skills. Also I think, it's wonderful to have someone who shows us a new culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

My most important artistic authorities are Trent Reznor, Lars von Trier, Rafal Wojaczek and Krzysztof Kieslowski– their works are very inspirational to me. My favorite band is Nine Inch Nails (I've been to Reznor's concert once and I'm dreaming of another one). Mostly, I read non-fiction litearature. Recently, Godfrey Reggio's documentaries have piqued my interest.
