Hi! I’ m Weronika (my Chinese name is 孔瑋利), I’m originally from Silesia in the south of Poland, but for almost four years now I’ve been studying Chinese studies and Philosophy on the University of Warsaw.
I’m pretty talkative and easygoing, I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places (even if it’s just around the corner).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Few of my friends have been using Couchsurfing app for quite some time and I’ve finally decided to have an account of my own.
I really enjoy getting to know people from all around the world and with the help of this app I will not only have an opportunity to get to know other cultures and practice my speaking skill, but also get to know myself. In my opinion, by having deep conversations with someone you’ve just met, one can truly grow and experience sth enlightening.

U may call me a real film and music buff. It’s difficult do describe my film taste, it’s sort of eclectic.
Recently has been really into electronic music,l and jazz. Love films Chinese movies (Wong Karwai, Chen Kaige, Zhang Yimou), films by Wes Anderson, Sofia Coppola, Jane Campion, Jim Jarmusch, Andriej Zwiagincew, Andriej Tarkowski, Peter Greenaway, Jan Jakub Kolski, Paweł Pawlikowski and lots of others.
