ABOUT ME

I'm a bit spontaneous and am always on the verge of running away to start a new life. Traveling would be my favorite thing, if I had to choose one, and I take every chance I get to go as far away as I can. I love all things design, art, architecture, fashion, style... I'm a creative sort of person who is always looking for a better way to do things. Growing up in TN my backyard was woods, mountains, caves, rivers and creeks. I love to explore and be outside climbing, swimming and backpacking. I am often told I'm one of the most agreeable people many have met, not because I don't hold strong opinions but because I am so open to listening to and understanding others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because my love for creating and building mandates that I acquire a higher education for it, I am in school and don't get much time to travel. Therefore, I do what I can to help others traveling and share stories and experiences, the elements of other peoples lives.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just joined this couchsurfing organization and hope to meet new people. Right now I can only host, but hope to gain positive references and experiences to use when it comes my turn to beg for a place to stay. Apart from that, I know what its like to travel without the inhibitions of plans and money.

Interests

I love adventure and the excitement that unexpected events hold. Design and aesthetics are also a powerful element for me, and I am currently studying architecture in Knoxville. (Its a beautiful place to live, next to the smoky mountains and all, but the only reason I am here is for school, otherwise I would be traveling the world over). I love to paint and play the violin, as well as watch film noir and any movie that takes place in space or the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've camped directly on the edge of the cliffs of Moher, Ireland. I ran away once to an island in the Caribbean called St. Lucia and stayed with a Rastafarian in the jungle, bathing under waterfalls and eating fruit from trees. I have always traveled alone, ever since I was 16.
