About Me

I'm a full-time student. I love music and going on adventures. I produce music on the side and write on my blog. My study abroad trip to London fueled my desire to travel the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people because I get the chance to learn something about them. I believe the best way to learn a culture is to learn its people. I love getting my expectations and stereotypes broken and learning new truths about people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Kanye West, Led Zeppelin, Florence & The Machine, Bon Iver, Francis & The Lights, The 1975, Muse, John Mayer, Hillsong, Frank Ocean, The Tallest Man on Earth, Drake, Migos, Post Malone and various EDM remixes of pop songs.

I love listening to upbeat songs, such as rap, rock, and EDM. I'm usually open to most types of music (even metal/djent) and it's hard for me to dislike a certain song.

Movies: Moonrise Kingdom, Mad Max, Swiss Army Man, Whiplash, La La Land, Grand Budapest Hotel.

I'm not a big fan of big Hollywood movies because they're too predictable. These are movies in which I watched with no information about the movie and enjoyed it because they offered a different story and take that some directors/studios wouldn't take.

Books: Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX and the Quest for a Fantastic Future by Ashley Vance.

I love reading self-improvement books and books about other people because it gives me a chance to become a better person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a trip to New York City by myself. I saw a cheap flight to NYC and I took it in March 2017. During my flight there, I made friends with the people next to me and one of them even offered me a free uber ride to Manhatten. I managed to meet up with friends I met abroad and took trips to New Jersey and Philadelphia.
