Currently living in Catskill, NY with my partner and 4-year-old stepdaughter, keeping our devotion to art and unschooling in suburbia. We love to meet new people! Our basement is full of musical instruments and our garage is full of mobiles made from bones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To know people, not just places.

When I was hiking I was taken in willingly by countless people - for a ride, for a meal, to stay the night. Traveling is nothing without support, and since I'm stationary and settled in this beautiful place, I want to provide some of that support.

Interests

Writing and performing music are my favorite things in the world. Trekking - I have hiked the Appalachian Trail in the US and in the Annapurna mountains in Nepal. Asking questions, cooking and sharing food, coffee, drinking and wandering, reading, life talks, off-grid lifestyles, intentional community.

Rode around Pondicherry, India in a rickshaw with an IV hanging out of my arm, almost passing out, trying to find a hospital with the right injections to give me. Found em. It was AMAZING
