ABOUT ME

Hi guys,

I am a kind-hearted, well-mannered, fun-loving, self-aware, open-minded, knowledge-seeking, free-spirited, well-endowed, over-hyphenated kind of guy.. Just kidding, I'm not nearly as pretentious!

Really, I am just a creative young type with strong affinities towards freaks and counterculture. I know I'm cool and "hip", but I have nothing to prove by it. In fact, I'm often described as a naturalistic, insightful and intuitive person by many of my friends. I'd like to believe that I am exceptionally empathic and non-judgmental towards old and brand new friends alike.

Spending time with me is usually positive and fun. I have a great sense of humor, genuine style, and a healthy ego. I have struck a refreshing balance between being superficial and confronting the heavy realities of this mortal coil. In other words, I'm intelligible and a great conversationalist, but I know how to have a really fun time and just don't take myself or life too seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just began this couch-surfing stuff. I had a friend who did it all the time, and he has to be one of the most admirable people I've ever met. So, there is clearly something to this! I have an amazing flat to share, right in downtown San Francisco. But first I'd like to make some connections myself.

I love a few authors; Kundera, Capote, Burroughs, Leroy, Fromm, Nin, Sade, Plathe, some others

I love music, alot; Bjork, Erlend Oye, Royksopp, Bent, Roisin Murphy, Sea and Cake, stuff like that. I like dance music like Industrial, New Wave, Italo Disco, Electrofunk, and Freestyle. I also draw inspiration from 80's "Adult Contemporary" style music like Sade, Anna Domino, Mike Francis, Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, Peter Gabriel etc.

Movies are so awesome; Todd Solondz films, Gregg Araki films, Stanley Kubrick stuff like that. And of course those great classics like Barberella, Vamp, Bladerunner, Showgirls, Bound, Liquid Sky, you know, campy stuff.
