Hiya CSers! I'm Lauren, a busy gal trying to do as much as possible in this one short, wild and precious life. I live in a sweet condo with my best friend Jen on Queen West in downtown Toronto. We have a puppy named Theo. Life is pretty darn good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple of years ago I couchsurfed in Newfoundland and met some incredible people, who I now spend time with when they come to Toronto! Now that I have a place I can really call home, I'm looking to participate in the CS culture once again.

Interests

The majority of my time is spent in the realm of arts & entertainment - making, discovering, discussing, seeking, supporting and engaging in it. In addition to that, some of my favourite things are yoga, food, my pup, my incredible friends, adventures in the city and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

The majority of my disposable income goes towards buying books (I may have an amazon.ca addiction...), I see movies like it's my job (well, it is...), and there is always an abundance of new & old music flowing through this home. If we spend time together, we'll talk lots more about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A favourite memory is a night I spent in Ada Foah, nestled between the Pacific Ocean & the Volta River under a bright, starry sky, with crabs scurrying around my bare, sand-dwelling feet while sitting around a fire in the company of guitar-strumming Dutchies, wild dogs, and a new best friend. It was a good night.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know Toronto like the back of my hand, and am well-versed in anything arts/vegetarian/yoga related for those who may want to explore those aspects of the city.
