About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I never met a vice I didn't like!

ABOUT ME

I'm a wild-willed old soul with the blessing and curse of loving meeting new people. Though I have an insatiable wanderlust, I have made Los Angeles my home, learning its ins and outs for the better part of my adult life. I have been here for 6 years and serve as guidebook for out-of-towners and locals alike.

I'm incredibly patient and a good listener, and these aren't traits

PHILOSOPHY

Let us toast to animal pleasures, to escapism, to rain on the roof and instant coffee, to unemployment insurance and library cards, to absinthe and good-hearted landlords, to music and warm bodies and contraceptives... and to the ‘good life,’ whatever it is and wherever it happens to be. — Hunter S Thompson

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I say "YES" before I even hear the question. If you reach inside yourself and figure out that part of you that can be shared with others around you, chances are you will enjoy [anything and everything]. The only way to avoid having fun is to bring nothing of yourself to the [world]. If you just try to take everything in, you won't 'get' anything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never participated in Couchsurfing.org but I have managed to have many guests, travelers, family, friends, strangers and lovers and strange lovers stay over and vice versa. From a place to crash, to a host for the weekend, I've been on both receiving and giving ends of the spectrum and I LOVE being hospitable!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing a show at the Cavern Club in Liverpool. 3 years later, seeing Paul McCartney from 20 feet away in Tel Aviv. Five years later, playing the harpsichord at Club 33 at Disneyland, when the last person's fingers who touched it were Sir Paul himself.

Okay, I really love the Beatles.
