ABOUT ME

I am a fiercely outgoing foodaholic obsessed with all things chocolate and/or delicious. I live for art and music but nothing gets me going like a bad syfy marathon. The worse the better. I like creating, with the mind and the body. Exploring all aspects of my imagination and using it to make people smile. One of my favorite things is hearing a new laugh; laughter is magic. I love nature, I love nurture, I love buildings, bikes and toys. I just love life and all of its wonderful people and no matter how much you see, do or learn .. there is always more. Amazing.

PHILOSOPHY

There is magic surrounding us everyday, the sun setting over the mountain tops, the moonlight shining through the full branches of an oak tree, a child's laughter, a wicked amazing jumpsuit .. it's everywhere. I am to seek it out everyday and share the magic I find with everyone I can.

I am always down to explore, meet new people, have coffee, eat some grub and just hang out. I offer my couch when I can and when I embark on my trip I plan on being the best guest/coffee company I can be. =]

I'm fairly new to couchsurching but I have a lot of amazing travelers who have visited this fine city of New York.

My interests span across the universe. If it's out there, I'm interested. But topping my list there would be FOOD (cooking it, eating it, talking about - any and all things culinary related), music (my mother is a folk musician so it is my blood, I love nothing more than writing songs with friends), thrift stores (I'm a junkie, if it doesn't fit me it will fit someone - the tacky and bizarre make me happy), bright stars and wide spaces, subways, grassy knolls, lamp posts (something romantic about them), making people smile, hearing people laugh, being free to be happy, exploring the world and meeting new faces to share magical moments in time with

Teach: How to make your own henna (tattoos, hairdye), how to laugh at nothing, make the worlds best granola.

Learn: How to drive shift, speak a new language, whistle, garden, paint, perfect the art of chocolate.

Share: I am always available to share my home if it's free, share my culinary knowledge (meager as it may be), share in life and share my smile.
