ABOUT ME

My partner carmel and I have travelled extensively, but it is the people rather than the places that most interest us. We most enjoy sharing stories of living life as an adventure and learning about how others see the world - at the same time contributing our ideas into that mix.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we have been to three host and met up with others for coffee.

Intereses

Movies - we set up our own film club where we would invite friends around for a a meal, watch a movie and discuss the movie - this would go on late into the night.
i am part of a book club and i have written a book myself that is awaiting publication.
Oh and did i mention that carmel is a world class cook!
i am concerned about the environmant and social justice issues and creating a better, more just world for the next generation.
we like gardeneing and grow many vegatables and have avacadoes, oranges, apples, passionfruit, feejoas persimmon and other fruit on our small section.
i love walking and one of the great expereinces of my life has been spending 32 days walking the camino de santiago de compostella, as well as many walks in new zealand.
i play chess with people form all over the world

We have quite a knowledge about organic gardening and we are part of an exchange network in new zealand.
We have been hosts in a similar scheme in new Zealand called WWOOF
