Chopping wood for the winter
I never get lost, just locations and people I come across often differ from those I had in mind in long forgotten plans :)
Brave but chickenshit, always enjoys the craic, and getting off the beaten track...
I grew up pretty rural in the Black Forest, lived in Kenya for some years in the 90's - life in a country ruled by a dictator, or rather by many dictators located around the world but him ready to do the dirty work locally – glad I could return to Europe...!
And sometimes I felt like working for god directly, well that's how I was treated by the people in these pretty catholic villages in south-west Germany when I was repairing and building in and out their stained glass church windows, working high up on the scaffolding... I'm not much of a believer after all but enjoyed that position very much :)
The best is the enemy of the good !
dancing helps thoughts in changing direction :)
and the lips of wisdom are sealed - except to the understanding hehe
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
You're all welcome not only the pretty and blithe, welcome the troubled souls and the shy, the overweight and underpaid, hard luck stories or people running from the law, welcome my fridge is yours let’s eat and drink and talk and see what we can do, and if anyone in my house should ever feel loved too little I'd give the poor soul a fair chance for doing them dishes :)
And I enjoy surfing very much, often really feels like visiting friends that you just haven’t met yet, and of course meeting a country, a region, with real people in their real lives, not what any governments or companies wanna sell us...
It was always part of my life to travel (mostly alone) and meet ‘strangers’, I thumbed all over Europe and surfed fisher boats and monasterys in Greece, castles in France and Scotland, the last inhabitants of deserted villages in Spain, hippie-farms in Portugal, and back home often met and invited travellers and vagabonds and found some wonderful friends for life anywhere and in between.
Live music like gigs in pubs or jam sessions in Blues Clubs, or festivals or psychedelic dance hehe, or frogs and geese at waterholes, or the sounds that found things can make when I drag them home at night through empty sleeping streets just coz I have the feeling they could possibly come in handy one day - I call'em my material, and some I give real names, like Henky the green table leg: I found him badly wounded by fire in which some unholy brute had thrown him only for the color of his varnish can u imagine?! But he beautifully recovered and lives ever since as a dancing left upper leg on my deepgreen kitchen table, impishly füßling with the former brute who’s been painted and fitted to serve as the legs beneath.
Also dive into nature, looking at flowers and trees and all sorts of animals, well most of all I love watching donkeys, octopuses, musicians or aliens but I take what I can get.
- wild life
- good craic in many ways

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- run away from home to hitchhike around Greece when I was 16;
- woke up on a fishers boat on which I've been hiding from some rain that night on a Greek beach and found myself at sunrise far out on the sea with 3 fishermen on board who were just as bewildered as me when found me, but than we became good friends;
- hugged a top-ten-member of the royal family of England to congratulate him to his career step when he became a gardener on a houseboat in London after being kicked out of royalty for his love for lsd;
Teach, Learn, Share
Know quite a few useful tricks, like how to treat various insect bites: moister tobacco with spit and rub that on the bite, the sooner the better, surprisingly effective!
Or I can show you how to make a lamp of an old soup ladle
http://libertin-leuchten.de/unikate.html#soupladle well my bro makes'em mostly but I often find the 'material'.
