Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am want be exposed to all diferent kinds of people and cultures as I am planning to be studying abroad Aug to Dec of 2011. While I am out of the United State I want to make as many new friends as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just hosted my first "surfers" in california, ironic, is it haha! It was no accident the way things worked out and we all got to know each other. they were only expecting to stay one night but they had so much fun they asked to stay 2 more! it turned out we were even able to meet up again in SF and go wine tasting in Napa, and now i have just bought a plain ticket to visit them in Europe and we are going to do more discovering together, cant wait! life has so many opportunities just waiting to be made so dont be afraid to be apart of it, lets have some fun! I hope our paths will cross and we can meet one day!

Interests

I like to see and explore new towns in a way that allows me to feel like I no longer need to rely on a map. Its important to understand geography so you have a better understand of who and where you are in the world. In doing this it is important to meet the locals that know a city inside and out. I think I have been able to master this in every city I have ever lived and would love to share any of my hometowns with you in exchange for you to show me yours one day.

I love finding the best local eats.
I love to play tennis, golf, bowling, ping pong.
I love Yoga.
I love shopping, especially for the best deals.
I love to be outside in nature, as i hope to one day be a Landscape Architect I want to see the different varieties of plants around the world and see how people in different cultures use plant material to improve their everyday living.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music that makes you want to get up and dance. From acoustic guitar to techno dance music to hip hop. Lets Move!

As for movies, i have a new found appreciation for cinematography and as I travel I hope to make a movie of my own journeys, so i hope you can make into my film!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to the Panda Capital of the world.
I have hiked to the top of Yosemite Falls.
I have been to the Grand Canyon more than 10 times.
