We are currently living in Ghana for my post-doctoral research as a hydrologist. My husband is also a research scientist (ecologist) and is doing research on biodiversity issues in West Africa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I generally think Earth is pretty amazing. Some stuff I've particularly enjoyed ... riding matatus in Kenya with 30 children (mostly on my lap) at a time, watching rafts of flamingos lift off soda lakes in perfect unison, wildebeest migration, Angkor Wat, and many sunrises.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to file in such a way that people will fear you are an idiot savant with but one perfect skill ... filing. I also know a thing or two about water (primarily that it runs downhill and always toward money). I can also teach you to knit.
